Pruning Trees
Now is the time of year when you should be out pruning your trees, including fruit trees. It’s very important that you do so you can eliminate the 3 “D’s” i.e. dead branches, diseased branches and dumb branches (any branches crossing over another branch). Remember to shape your tree the way you want it to grow or produce whatever it may produce. Pruning during the winter will alow your tree to recover from the pruning by the time spring rolls around.
